Samsung Galaxy S10 X and Huawei P30 Pro may have up to 12 GB of RAM Variants

According to new information from China, Samsung plans to introduce a variant with 12GB RAM for Galaxy S10 and the fourth variant with 5G support. The standard model will have 4GB of RAM. A new image was seen circulating in the Chinese social network, Weibo which reveals the possible RAM configurations of two future flagships of Samsung and Huawei. Samsung is reportedly launching two new variants of the Galaxy S10 called Galaxy S10 X and Galaxy S10 X 5G. The last device is seen in the picture with a huge 12 GB of RAM. The same storage configuration is also seen in the next variant of the Huawei P30 Pro.

Samsung Galaxy S10 X 5G variant with 12GB of RAM

According to the Weibo publication by Lei Technology, there are four new smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy S10 line. This had already been confirmed by an information leak last month. The new discovery says the upcoming smartphones will be called Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10 X and Galaxy S10 X 5G. Also, give us a look at the RAM settings of these smartphones. The Galaxy S10 phones will come with 4GB, 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM, respectively. Although there is still no confirmation on storage, we expect there to be multiple bids at the time it is released.

To recap, it is expected that the cheaper variant of these Galaxy S10 models will bring a screen of 5.8 inches, while the largest will come with 6.44 inches. The Galaxy S10 will likely offer a unique camera configuration on the back in conjunction with a fingerprint scanner. The larger Galaxy S10 Plus will feature a dual camera configuration, while the Galaxy S10X models will feature triple camera configurations. A recent information leak suggests the last configuration equipped with a combination of 12MP + 16MP + 13MP. An aperture size of F1.5 / 2.4 will be available for the wide-angle lens, F1.9 will be present for the ultra wide-angle lens and F2.4 will be present for the telephoto lens. According to the rumors circulating, these larger models also offer on-screen fingerprint sensors.

Huawei P30 Pro offers 12 GB of RAM

The Huawei P30 Pro is certainly a smartphone we’ll be looking forward to next year, as we were quite impressed with its predecessor, the Huawei P20 Pro. Whether this 12 GB RAM upgrade is truly true will be made, and it will do so much difference. On the other hand, the information leak also states that the Huawei P30 will have 8GB of RAM. That’s 2 GB more than the one found in the predecessor of this phone, the Huawei P20. According to this information leak, the two new Huawei phones could be launched in March next year.

The existence of the P30 Pro was confirmed last month by Huawei’s Richard Yu during the IFA 2018 trade show. Although he did not confirm the internal aspects at the time, it is safe to say that the phone would offer nothing less than the internal components of the line. The Huawei P30, on the other hand, should offer slightly reduced specifications, while charging a relatively lower price.

It does not seem to us that this information is true, so much difference in terms of RAM seems too exaggerated. What do you think?
