Cricket matches were once a lifeline for the metropolitan city like Karachi but in a few past years things got terrible due to the security issues and the stadium got empty. However, from the past one year the situation seems to be under controlled and a strict surveillance is being planned now.
However, in a press conference on Friday Saeed Ghani the Federal Minister stated that the tickets for the PSL Karachi matches to be taken place will be available for the public to be purchased from 20th February onwards. This time 5 matches will be played in the National Stadium and appropriate arrangements will be made.
The university road will be kept open for traffic and other security preparations like surveillance from helicopter and deployment of 6600 police personnel will be placed all over the city especially near National Stadium.
On the other hand, a small hospital will also be installed in a portable means to cater any sort of emergency during the match an proper parking spaces, pick and drop of the public will be conducted like previous year to make the experience of PSL a significantly enjoyable one this year as well.
