Telecommunications giant Telenor has made a move that has caught the attention of not just those who are seeing its billboard in between the billboards of Zong and Jazz but also millions of social media users.
Anyone who passes through Lahore Cantt-Walton Road can see these three billboards with the billboard of Telenor sandwiched between those of Zong and Jazz. this brand has cleverly used its positioning to take a dig at its rivals. It reads Naa Daiyen, Na Bayein, Seedha Telenor 4G Par Aaein. Literally translating into English, it means you should not look here and there and come straight to Telenor if you want to enjoy high 4G speeds. But the presence of Zong and Jazz billboards on right and left means company is clearly asking customers to leave these two brands and switch to its 4G service.
Telenor is a company that is famous for its aggressive and creative marketing methods. Its marketing strategies are at times funny and hilarious but they are able to achieve their target. This time though, the company seems to have hit its rivals below the belt. However, social media users are enjoying the creative manner in which company has landed a punch on both its rivals. Even Zong and Jazz are not complaining as they know Telenor has not crossed the limits.
