Saqib Nisar order to Fire Young Doctors doing Politics

Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Friday, scolded the young doctors and ordered to fire the doctors of Baluchistan who are involved in politics.

A two member bench led by the Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar was hearing a case about the condition of public hospitals in the province at top court’s Quetta Registry.

Chief secretary Baluchistan Aurangzeb Haq informed the court that Rs 1 billion has been given by the government to raise and improve the standards of hospitals. He further added that 571 new doctors will be hired.

The secretary Aurangzeb Haq added that young doctors are not performing their responsibilities and are involved in politics, Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar said that doctors who are doing politics should be fired.

Ijazul Ahsan felt that it happen only in Pakistan where doctors stop serving their patients and go on strike.

Young Doctors Association president Dr Yasir Khosti who was also there in the court said that their issues have not been resolved. He also informed the bench that young’s doctors are getting Rs 24,000 in Baluchistan and while in other provinces they are getting Rs 60,000.

The Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar stated that the doctors should first come to hospitals and perform their responsibilities and then demand. Chief Justice also added stipend paid to them is according to the condition of the province.

Chief secretary Aurangzeb Haq added that stipends are increased by Rs 4,000.
