Atif Aslam literally sang the song ‘O Saathi’ for the film Baaghi2 and their production team removed his name from credit list for song “O Sathi” that was so rude attitude from them.
Ever since the ban Atif Aslam refused to promote the song ‘O Saathi’ which makes perfect sense since as an artist it is thoroughly disrespectful to get banned like that and the composer of the song Vipin Patwa supported the singer by saying,
“Atif Aslam declined to promote the song ‘O Saathi’ because of the ban and it looks really cool and it makes a sense too because it is so rude to get banned like this.”
Composer of song Vipin Patwa supported him by saying:
“His voice matched with the character of the song that’s why he was accepted. Decision was taken before this controversy. If Aslam has taken this decision, there must be some reason behind it.” Technicalsain.com

Every one grew up listening Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saab and Mehdi Saab. We can’t stop people to listen their songs. Yes surely you can’t because music is beyond boundaries.
Any discussions to remove the song from the film, Patwa explained,
“Removing an artist’s song merely on the basis of some controversy is the worst and most disrespectful thing. It takes a lot of effort and pain to create a song. I had specially flown to Dubai just to record the song.” Technicalsain.com
